Joe is a highly accomplished cybersecurity professional with over 35 years of experience in systems, network, and security engineering. A US Navy veteran, he has a proven track record of success in the cybersecurity field.
As a cybersecurity research and development engineer, Joe successfully led teams in developing and implementing critical security solutions for numerous national security programs. His work directly contributed to enhancing the security posture of these programs and critical data. He has authored and contributed to numerous Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and published extensively and spoken on cybersecurity topics.
For over a decade, Joe has excelled in pre-sales leadership roles supporting OEMs. He works closely with customer engineering, leadership, and vendor product teams to solve complex security challenges and drive customer success. He consistently exceeded sales targets and built strong, long-term customer relationships, playing a crucial role in closing many of the largest deals for his employers.
Joe holds multiple professional certifications in computer networking, operations, and security, including CISSP. He is passionate about advancing cybersecurity awareness and has served as President of the Charleston ISC2 Chapter, organizing and presenting at numerous events to educate professionals in South Carolina. He also serves as Vice-President of the Coastal Service Disabled Veterans Owned Business chapter, supporting fellow service disabled veterans in their entrepreneurial endeavors.
